At Orange Grove, we’ve been rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for our last three inspections in a row, demonstrating our commitment to ensuring every child across South Yorkshire has the chance to live a normal, happy childhood where they feel safe, loved and supported.
We support foster families all across South Yorkshire, including Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, and surrounding areas.
We also have over 25 years of experience that has given us the time and working knowledge to truly understand what foster parents, their children and grandchildren, and the young people in their care need. Our team have fine-tuned their skills to help build solid foundations and a community of warmth and support around our foster families.

There aren’t many requirements to apply to foster a child. All that we ask is that you:
- Are over 21 years old
- Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
- Have a spare bedroom that's always available to a child
- Can offer a stable, loving home to a child

What matters to us is that you have a big heart with a lot of love to give to children in care who have already experienced so much. In return, you’ll be fully supported by a team of professionals, including a dedicated social worker, family support worker and 24/7 help whenever you need it.

About us
Orange Grove was founded in 1996 by foster professionals who understood that relationships are at the heart of building brighter futures for children and young people in care. So, they set about creating a nurturing and collaborative community that empowers foster parents and looks after the whole family's well-being.
Over 25 years later, we are making a difference to children and young people every day by creating tailored villages of support that foster families can truly rely on. Our villages are diverse, with a range of professionals who are experts in social work, healthcare, education, therapy and more at hand when needed. We host support groups and offer mentoring, so whether you are a new or experienced foster parent, you'll have support on every step of your journey.
We have offices all over the UK, including our Doncaster fostering agency, and around 400 children in our care. We’re committed to helping them all grow, heal and be hopeful for the future.
