Why foster in Suffolk with Orange Grove?

Why do children need foster parents?

Children are brought into foster care for various reasons, including a sudden change in their family’s circumstances. Often children are brought into foster care as it has been discovered that their home environment is unsafe due to abuse or neglect. Other times it could be the death of a beloved caregiver, a family crisis, or a parent being imprisoned. Therefore, children in care need lots of love and personalised care to flourish.

As a child’s foster parent, you'll be the primary source of the love and care which they will need to heal from their experiences and flourish. Children will react to their past experiences very differently, and because of that, they need individualised care. Compassionate, tailored care can be transformative for children who have endured adversity in their young lives, and can help them reach much better outcomes than they would be able to without care tailored to their needs.
