Trauma-informed care and support

We offer trauma-informed care to the children we look after, meaning that we teach our foster parents therapeutic parenting techniques so that they can understand children’s behaviour in relation to the trauma they may have experienced before coming into foster care.

We offer a range of different types of fostering to suit different children and family’s needs, so whether a child is with your family for only a few days or if they stay with you into adulthood, our trauma-informed training will ensure that you’re able to provide the children you look after with care tailored to their needs.
